JS2 Partners

JS2 Partners

JS2 Partners is a custom design-build firm based in Austin, Texas, serving the greater Central Texas Hill Country region including Dripping Springs, Lake Travis, Marble Falls, Fredericksburg, Horseshoe Bay, and Johnson City. Founded by husband-and-wife team Jen and Rusty Stout, the company offers custom home construction, whole-home remodeling, architectural drafting, holistic interior design, healthy tiny homes, and outdoor living projects. Their work is grounded in a wellness-driven approach to building, using exclusively non-toxic construction materials and methods developed through their own custom home practice.

JS2 Partners is directly relevant to people concerned about indoor toxins and chemical sensitivities. Their homes are built to be free from chemicals such as formaldehyde and petroleum solvents, with a focus on low-VOC paints, formaldehyde-free cabinetry, and non-toxic finishes throughout, as well as moisture management strategies to prevent mold. The company also addresses low-EMF wiring as part of their healthy home standard. Jen Stout developed the healthy home building approach after her own health declined due to chemical exposure in a new apartment, and JS2 Partners co-authored the book “Healthier Homes,” published through Penguin Random House. The firm is a member of the National Association of Home Builders and the Sustainable Furnishings Council. JS2 Partners also operates a sister company, Healthier Homes, which sells non-toxic furniture, kitchen and bath products, zero-VOC paint, and other home goods.

JS2 Partners works directly with homeowners on custom projects and collaborates with architects and engineers throughout the build process. All services are in-person and local to the Central Texas region. Prospective clients can reach out through the contact form on the website to schedule a construction consultation.
