Olathe LAD Clinic is a solo functional medicine practice in Overland Park, Kansas, founded and led by Diana Gordon, RN, BSN, LPC, APRN, CMFP. Diana has been treating Lyme and associated diseases since 2001, with over 12 years of experience training under a Lyme specialist before opening the clinic in 2014. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University, is ANCC board certified, and earned a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from UMKC. The clinic’s mission is to diagnose and treat Lyme disease and associated infections, mold illness, gut conditions, and heavy metal toxicity using a functional medicine approach. The clinic describes mold illness and CIRS as serious, frequently misdiagnosed conditions in which mycotoxin exposure triggers an inflammatory cascade in genetically susceptible individuals, and it addresses heavy metal toxicity as an accumulation of environmental toxins taken in through air, water, food, and skin absorption. Diana is an active member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), and completed intensive certification training with Lyme specialist Richard I. Additional certifications include Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP), certification in neuro and endocrine from NeuroScience, EMDR certification, certification in hypnosis, Apollo Health ReCODE 2.0 training, and Certified Rater status for the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Treatment options include extensive laboratory testing for mold, toxins, heavy metals, and infection; antimicrobial and herbal therapies; oral antibiotics; IV therapy; specialized diet; lymphatic massage; EMDR therapy; and counseling.
