Dr. Robin Meek - Bluegrass Functional Medicine

Bluegrass Functional Medicine is a small functional medicine practice in Lexington, Kentucky, founded and led by Dr. Robin Meek, MD. Dr. Meek is board certified in Internal Medicine and has completed the educational requirements for certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She previously served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine for over 20 years, where she helped develop the Center for Women’s Health. Dr. Meek’s path to functional medicine grew out of her own health struggle with autoimmune disease, which led her to seek solutions outside of conventional medicine. The practice has an in-house phlebotomist, and many test kits can be completed at home. In-person visits are available at the Lexington office. Virtual follow-up visits are available for Kentucky residents after an initial in-person appointment; out-of-state patients must complete their first visit in person before transitioning to virtual care.
