LACQUER Nail Studio

LACQUER Nail Studio is a woman-owned nail salon located at 210 Guadalupe Street in the 2nd Street District of downtown Austin, Texas. The studio specializes in soakless manicures and pedicures, using hot towels in place of water soaking, which is described as a cleaner and safer method that also helps polish last longer. Services include manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, builder gel overlays, IBX nail strengthening treatments, and nail art. Dip powder, acrylic, and hard gel services are not offered.

LACQUER holds a Certified Safe Salon designation and maintains an acrylic-free environment. All metal implements are sterilized in a medical grade autoclave, nitrile gloves are worn for all services, and files and buffers are never reused. Gel polish options include CND Shellac (HEMA-free, and free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP, cured with LED) and OPI Gel Color (free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP, low-HEMA with some HEMA-free shades, cured with LED). Dazzle Dry is offered as an ultra polish alternative: vegan, hypoallergenic, and free of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, nitrocellulose, and TPHP, with no LED lamp required. Regular polish options include OPI (3-free) and CND Vinylux (7-free). Lotions and scrubs use all-natural formulas with organic ingredients.

Appointments are booked online. The studio is in-person only. Gift cards are available, and a referral credit program is offered.
