Purity Organic Spa

Purity Organic Spa (also known as The Green Facialist) has two locations in California: one in Universal City, Los Angeles, at 3487 Cahuenga Boulevard West, and one in Arroyo Grande on the central coast at 136 South Halcyon Road. Services include organic facials (signature, collagen, healing, teen, and luxury options), a botanical back treatment, lymphatic facial massage, LED light therapy, brow services, and scalp and hair loss consultations. All appointments are by appointment only.

The spa uses award-winning natural and organic product lines throughout its treatments. Esthetician Carol Dobson Zubrin takes an all-natural approach and avoids harsh treatments such as chemical peels and microdermabrasion, which she describes as traumatizing to the skin. Her work is grounded in lymphatic drainage facial massage, Chinese pressure point therapy, and knowledge of skincare ingredients. Press coverage has described the facials as calming, non-toxic, and eco-luxe.

Skin consultations and scalp and hair loss consultations are available both in person and over FaceTime. The spa also offers classes and an online shop. New clients are asked to complete an intake form before their first visit.
