Andy Pace

The Green Design Center is a healthy building supply company and consultation service founded by Andrew Pace, one of the most experienced experts in the non-toxic building materials space. Based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the company has been operating for over 30 years and has served more than 30,000 clients worldwide. Andrew specializes in helping people with chemical sensitivities, CIRS, and MCAS find safe materials, methods, and systems for their homes.

The Green Design Center offers two sides of the business. The first is a consultation service where Andrew works directly with homeowners, or alongside their builders, architects, and designers, to recommend non-toxic building materials and strategies for creating a healthier living space. The second is an online shop carrying a curated selection of non-toxic and low-tox products including paints, stains, and finishes (featuring AFM Safecoat), flooring (hardwood, cork, natural linoleum, non-toxic LVP, carpet), mold and moisture products, air and water purification, organic mattresses, and non-toxic cleaning supplies.

Andrew is also the host of the Non Toxic Environments Podcast and has been featured in Real Simple, Men’s Health, Architectural Digest, and Wellness Mama, among others.

Consultations are available by appointment and can be booked online. The shop ships products nationwide. Located in Waukesha, WI, with a showroom available to tour.
