Wild Desert Beauty

Wild Desert Beauty is an eco-focused hair salon located in East Austin, Texas. Services include haircuts, balayage, highlights, vivid color, blowouts, styling, barbering, and ethically sourced hair extensions. The salon uses a gender-neutral, hourly pricing model, and new clients can complete a new client form or book a consultation to find the right appointment.

The salon uses only non-toxic hair care products and ammonia-free, PPD-free, low-toxic hair color. No synthetic fragrances, aerosols, or other harsh chemical services are permitted in the salon. Retail products carried in-salon include Cult + King, Reverie, Innersense, Hairstory, and Hui Hui. Cleaning and laundry products used in the salon are non-toxic, fragrance-free, and dye-free.

Wild Desert Beauty is a Green Circle Salons member, recovering and recycling 95% of salon waste, and has been recognized as a Gold Level Austin Green Business Leader for its eco-conscious practices. Additional sustainability measures include EcoHeads shampoo bowls to reduce water usage by 65%, air-filtering plants throughout the space, LED lighting with motion sensors, and sourcing products from companies that use minimal or recyclable packaging. This is an in-person salon.
