Balans Organic Spa

Balans is an organic spa and wellness center located at 216 Newbury Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The spa side of the business offers organic facials, organic massage (including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, CBD, and lymphatic options), organic body treatments, waxing, and floatation therapy. The wellness studio on the second floor offers postural therapy, postural strength training, and postural yoga. Couples massage and private events are also available.

Facials and massage services use exclusively Maria Åkerberg Deepskin Organics, a Swedish skincare line described as 100% organic, with zero artificial or synthetic ingredients. Massages use cold-pressed, unscented organic massage oil as the default, with optional upgrades to oils blended with organic essential oils. All facial treatments are fully customized, and the AHA peel add-on uses lactic acid derived from organic sugar beets.

New clients begin with an initial facial that includes a detailed intake and skin evaluation. Packages and first-time specials are available, and gift cards can be purchased online. Services are in-person only at the Newbury Street location; the website does not indicate any virtual consultation options.
