Steller Salon & Apothecary

Steller Salon & Apothecary is a natural hair salon and apothecary located at 206 Main Street in Norfolk, Massachusetts. Services include haircuts, blowouts, partial and full foils, face framing highlights, balayage, babylights, color blending, gloss, regrowth color, hair and scalp treatments (including an Olaplex treatment and a botanical option), formal and bridal styling, and facial waxing. The salon also carries an in-house line of natural haircare products available for retail purchase.

The salon uses Aveda as its primary color and product line, noting that Aveda is a green beauty company that manufactures with 100% wind power at its primary facility and uses 80% to 100% post-consumer recycled packaging across much of its product portfolio. The salon space features eco flooring, low-VOC paint, repurposed furniture, and EcoHeads water-conserving showerheads. The salon also offers an in-salon refill program for its own Starstruck shampoo and conditioner, which is described as free from sulfates, silicones, petroleum, artificial fragrance, gluten, nuts, oats, eggs, and sesame. The salon partners with Green Circle Salons for beauty waste recycling.

Steller Salon & Apothecary describes its approach as rooted in the belief that products and services should not compromise client health or the environment. All products carried are described as thoughtfully selected with that standard in mind. This is an in-person salon.
