Nori's Eco Salon

Nori’s Eco Salon is a certified green hair salon located at 14615 Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, California, inside The Loft Hair Studio. The salon is family-owned and has been operating at the same location for over 28 years. Services include haircuts and styling for women, men, and children, hair coloring, highlights, balayage, blowouts, keratin smoothing treatments, curl treatments, and specialty scalp treatments for conditions such as thinning hair, dry or oily scalp, and hair loss.

The salon uses the Natulique product line exclusively, which carries a 360 Biocert Organic certification. The owner founded the salon specifically to serve chemically sensitive clients and stylists, and the space itself was built with low-toxin materials: zero-VOC paint, natural linoleum flooring made from linseed oil, non-toxic drywall, and recycled denim insulation. The keratin treatment offered is described on the website as free from the harsh chemicals typically associated with that service. Nori’s has received a Green Certification from the Los Angeles Green Business program and a Climate Leader Award, and the site notes it was the first salon in Los Angeles to receive both. Foil used for color services is recycled.
